ABOUT SHERRI & CINDY:

Sherri Chung is a composer for film and television and currently composes and conducts the scores for “Blindspot” (NBC) and “Riverdale” (CW). Her compositional work includes both songs and scores for t.v., films, documentaries, commercials, musicals and music libraries. One of her recent films, “The Other Side of Home” was shortlisted for the 2017 Oscars for Best Short Documentary. A long time collaborator with composer Blake Neely, they have worked together on a number of scores, including those for CW’s “Arrow”, “The Flash”, “Supergirl” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”. Sherri studied Music Composition and Theory at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL, and attended USC's Scoring For Motion Picture and Television Graduate Program in Los Angeles, CA. Sherri has also attended the Sundance Institute's Film Music Program as well as ASCAP's Scoring Workshop. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she began working as an orchestrator for “Family Guy” and “American Dad”, with composer Walter Murphy. Not only a composer, Sherri is also a pianist, vocalist and songwriter. She has recorded and produced 2 original albums and performs with her band in Los Angeles. As a vocalist, she has recorded for films, commercials, trailer music, and television (ABC’s “Resurrection”, and CW’s “Arrow”). Currently her voice can be heard on NBC's “Blindspot” and the Netflix documentary series “The Keepers” (Emmy nominated for Outstanding Documentary), two scores she also conducted.

Cindy O'Connor is a composer, arranger and performer for film, TV and theater. She was born in Santa Fe, NM and raised in Japan, New York and Los Angeles. Her parents knew she had a musical future when at age 5 she wrote a song on her little keyboard called “The Aku-Aku Foot Disease” (OK, a strange musical future perhaps…). Cindy is currently scoring (and occasionally singing on) the Crash TV series with Mark Isham. Her film composing credits include the upcoming feature Not Forgotten (starring Simon Baker), Forgiving the Franklins (one of Premiere Magazine’s “Ten to Watch at Sundance” 2006), Compact Only, and additional music for The Women, The Black Dahlia, Crossing Over, The Secret Life of Bees, The Express, The Mist, Running Scared, and The Black Donnellys (NBC series). As an orchestrator, arranger and programmer she has worked on The Express, Pride and Glory, Lions for Lambs, In the Valley of Elah, Bobby, Eight Below and many other films. Cindy is an award-winning theater composer with several original musicals produced internationally. Her musical “All That He Was” won the Kennedy Center/ACTF National Musical Theater Award and is published by Samuel French. She has composed music for the off-Broadway premieres of “In The Air” and “La Llorona”, and she is currently developing a new musical, “40 is the new 15”, with the Academy for New Musical Theater in Los Angeles.
