ABOUT MICHAEL GRODNER: Michael Grodner makes music videos and branded content. His work receives regular shout-outs from MTV2 and MTVU, and has appeared at world-wide festivals such as the Brighton Festival (UK), Synch Festival (Athens, Greece) and the Indie Pop Film Test in Newport Kentucky where his video, Brazil’s “Escape” captured Best Music Video. He’s directed videos for Cursive, Chiodos, Kill Me Tomorrow, The Human Abstract, The Briggs , Planes Mistaken For Stars, Sabertooth Tiger, Women And Children, and the Black Kites. Picking fights with bands like the Strokes – Cardamone, a member of the Buddyhead collective once spray-painted ‘Sellouts Suckn Dicks’ on the side of their tourbus – and smashing up Stevie Ray Vaughn’s guitar at SXSW – the band lived fast.
