Restream studio is one of my favorite content creation tools for anyone that's looking for a straightforward solution to making pro looking video content. One of my favorite features is the ability to add animated backgrounds. Cool. Right? Or this, or even custom ones like this.

And of course, I'm going to show you exactly how you can do that too.

As I teach you all of the fun things you can do in restream now. Let's get fancy here we are in restream studio, which if you didn't know, you can record only, you don't even have to live stream in order to use this tool. The first thing I want you to do is to change your layout. So you can see the background, head to the last option here, which is thumbnails, click on that.

And then now you can see. What will end up behind your beautiful face now in your control panel, you're going to head to graphics and you're going to scroll down to background. You can see, there are a lot of options down here, but these ones that have the little video camera on it are videos. If you click on show, it will pop up and you will see it.

And it will be beautiful. Now this looks really great behind you, but if you have a guest, it looks even better like that. What, how cool you can try all of the different options to see what works for you. I really like this white one. It's got a cool, like minimalist futuristic thing going for it. But the best thing is that you can add your own custom background, whether it is animated or not.

This is a background that I made in Canva, but I wanted another option that had my branding on it. So I made this one and just in case there are any issues with connectivity. I have one that is not an animated background. So we're always good to go. These are super easy to make in Canva. And the first thing you need to do is go to create this design and scroll down to video, which is going to get you the exact right size that you need for your restream background.

Once you're in here, there is so much that you can do, but if you're not ready to make something custom, you can head to. And then go down to videos and click on, see all, and here you will see tons of options that you can get started with. If you're not ready to just build something weird like I did, but if you're adventurous, there are tons of animated graphics that you can choose from.

I found these elements by typing in gradient enemies. And then I just started building because I wanted to have a little bit of branding. I added in my tick-tock and Instagram username. And I also put my create release, repeat motto in the bottom corner. And when you're done, you're going to go to download and download it as an MP4.

Now, I also suggest that you download it as a PNG, which will be a non-moving non-animated version of it that you can go to in case something happens in case your connection is bad and you need. Okay. Scale things back a moment, or you just get tired of the animation. You're like calm down. Sit still.

Let's uh, let's have another option now that you're back in, restream head to your graphics panel, go down to backgrounds and then click on upload little plus sign. Now, choose your file and bring it into the studio. And there you go. You are ready to have a pro looking video and it looks great with guests.

When you bring your guests in, you can change the layout and you can still see your background. And it's so huge. So. Oh, my goodness. I love it.
